Memorial Day Monday is May 27th:

 

The Members of the Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corporation would like to express their appreciation to all of our brave Service Men and Women who have served to protect our freedom and our Country, especially those who made the supreme sacrifice to protect us.  This Memorial Day please take a moment to thank and remember all who have served.

 

CHVFC Ladies Auxiliary held a "31" Handbag  Party

The Coeymans Hollow Ladies Auxiliary President Mary Ann Dennis would like to thank everyone for coming to the "31" Party.  We hope that everyone had a great time and we hope to see you at our next event.

 

New Member Welcomed:

 

The Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corporation would like to welcome new associate member Peggy Keezer to the Fire Corporation.

 

Board Meeting Scheduled:

 

The Coeymans Hollow Board of Directors will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 29 beginning at 7:30p.m.  All members of the Board of Directors are encouraged to attend.

Drill Scheduled:

Coeymans Hollow Training Officer Sam Slingerland has announced the drill scheduled for Tuesday May 28 will be a Tanker/Master Stream Drill.  The drill will begin promptly at 7:00p.m. and all Coeymans Hollow Firefighters and EMS Personnel are encouraged to attend

Memorial Day Parade Scheduled:

This year's Memorial Day Parade will be held in the Medway-Grapeville Fire District on Monday May 27 beginning at 10:00a.m.  All Coeymans Hollow members who would like to march in this year's Memorial Day Parade are encouraged to sign up at the firehouse.  The signup sheet is on the upstairs bulletin board.

Safety Tip:

Don't become a memory on Memorial Day Weekend. Please Don't Drink and Drive.

Fire and EMS Report:

The Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corporation responded to 2 Fire to 4 EMS calls in the past week.

CHVFC Ladies Auxiliary to host a "31" Party

 

The Coeymans Hollow Ladies Auxiliary will host a "31" Party this Thursday May 16 beginning at 6:30p.m. at the Coeymans Hollow Firehouse.  The party is open to the public and refreshments will be served.  Ladies, come on out to the Hollow for an evening of fun.  For more information about the "31" Handbag Party, please contact Coeymans Hollow Ladies Auxiliary President Mary Ann Dennis at 767-2621. 

 

Drill Scheduled:

 

Coeymans Hollow Training Officer Sam Slingerland has announced the drill scheduled for Tuesday May 21 has been changed to Monday May 20 beginning at 7:00p.m.  The drill will be on Chemical Suicide, what to look for and how to protect yourself when you arrive on the scene.

 

Memorial Day Parade Scheduled:

 

This year's Memorial Day Parade will be held in the Medway-Grapeville Fire District on Monday May 27.  All Coeymans Hollow members who would like to march in this year's Memorial Day Parade are encouraged to sign up at the firehouse.

Safety Tip:

Keep children and pets inside or in a separate area when cutting the grass.  Stones can be ejected from a mower at over 80 mph.
